Youth Basketball

REGISTRATION DATES AND SEASONS

1. Girls Jr. Jazz Basketball: Registration is from June to September. The season is from October to December.
2. Co-Ed Jr. Jazz Basketball: Registration is from July to November. The season is from January to March.

DIVISIONS (Choose the grade they will be in during the program): 

• 1st Grade: Instructional coach ran league. Teams play 3v3.
• 2nd Grade: Teams play 3v3.
• 3rd-9th Grade: Teams play 5v5.
  • 7th-9th Grade may partner with surrounding cities and play outside Ogden City (depends on season and participation).

COST: 

• 1st Grade to 9th Grade: $45
• Non-Ogden Residents: $75

DETAILS:

• The league consists of 8 games with no post season tournament.
• Players receive a reversible Jr. Jazz jersey.
• Teams will typically play one game a week and have one practice a week. Games and practices can occur Monday to Saturday depending on space and participation. Game times can occur 5pm to 9pm on weekdays, and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays.
• This league is designed as an individual player registration.  Players are assigned to a coach and team based on the school they are attending as much as possible. 
• Team/Player/Coach Requests are not accepted for 3rd grade and up.
• Participants may play up a division, however, a parent/guardian must coach the team they are playing on.

LOCATIONS:

• Games are played at local Ogden City gyms including the Marshall White Center and Ogden School Districts gyms.
