About Rookie Ball


Ogden City offers Rookie Ball from 3 year old to 5 years old (as of August 1st of the school year the program is being held in). Our leagues are focused on involving players, improving player's skills, and being a part of a team. The program is great for players that are brand new to sports or returning year to year.

REGISTRATION DATES AND SEASONS

Registration: October to March. The season is typically from May to June. 

DIVISION (Choose the age they will be in during the program):

  • T-Ball (for children 3 years old as of August 1st of the previous year)
  • Pre-K T-Ball (for children 4 years old as of August 1st of the previous year)
  • Kindergarten Coach Pitch (for children 5 years old as of August 1st OR currently attending Kindergarten)

COST

  • $40 for Ogden City residents.
  • $55 for non-residents.

DETAILS

  • The league consists of 10 games with no post season tournament.
  • Players will receive a shirt, hat, and EITHER a bat or a glove (alternating years).
  • Teams will typically play two games per week. Practices will be incorporated into the first 4 games.

LOCATIONS

  • Games are played at local Ogden City Parks/Complexes
