Current Restrictions for Ogden: Yellow

Ogden’s Fire Marshal reviews risk levels associated with fire dangers in our city, neighborhoods, and open space and determines current fire risk levels. With the cooling weather and improving conditions yellow-level restrictions are in place until conditions improve or October 15, 2025. 

Yellow level means the following restrictions are in effect in the restricted zone:

1. No aerial fireworks are allowed.
2. Ignition sources in non-irrigated or natural landscaped areas are prohibited. 

You can still use the following, as long as you’re in a landscaped area, watching it at all times, and have a way to put it out:

1. Small fire pits for recreational use (at least 25-feet from buildings or anything flammable).
2. Gas, pellet, solid fuel, and charcoal outdoor cooking appliances.

Please help us keep our community safe by following these guidelines. Fire risk is serious this time of year.
