The purpose of this project is to create a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The project is branded Zone Ogden. This will include a complete rewrite of Ogden City’s Zoning Ordinance and an update to its Subdivision Regulations, Sign Ordinance, and Landmarks Ordinance combining them into a well-organized, graphicly-rich, user-friendly Unified Development Ordinance that includes tables, images, and diagrams. This project will be a full replacement of Titles 14, 15, 17, and 18, which will include land uses, approval processes, and the coordination of other requirements that may be applicable.
The consultant team, Logan Simpson Design and city staff have finished the complete draft of the Unified Development Code.
On February 25th, the consultant team will share the complete draft of the Unified Development Code at the Final Zone Ogden Open House. The open house will be held at the Union Station (Browning Theater). The open house is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Come and see all of the exciting changes proposed for the city's new unified development codes. A copy of the complete unified development code will be available for review on February 11th on the project website.
