Fernando Morales, Chair

Fernando Morales brings a vibrant passion for advocating for BIPOC communities and vulnerable populations facing adversity. His commitment is evident through his professional background in nonprofits and his altruistic volunteer work.

Currently, as the Regional Director for 211 at the United Way of Northern Utah, Fernando works in connecting individuals with essential services, often engaging with them personally and spearheading community outreach. Previously, he made significant contributions as the volunteer Director of an Immigrant Resources Center in the Salt Lake Area, where he thrived in providing personalized assistance to those navigating their new communities. Fernando takes immense satisfaction in witnessing the transformative journey of individuals as they improve their lives.

Fernando is a proud alumnus of Brigham Young University – Idaho with a degree in Business Administration, and he is currently advancing his knowledge in the Executive Master’s in Public Administration program at BYU. His educational journey has been the cornerstone of his steadfast dedication to service and uplifting communities. His recent distinction as a Citizenship Ambassador by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a prestigious role held by few across the nation, exemplifies his passionate commitment and contributions to our community. Fernando’s greatest source of happiness is his family, with his three children at the heart of his world, in addition to the joy he has in his active involvement in the Ogden community.
