The Ogden City Council is encouraging Ogden residents to complete a survey regarding short-term rentals such as Airbnb and VRBO.
Ogden City Planning Division staff have proposed a zoning ordinance text amendment regarding residential vacation rentals. The proposed text amendment is meant to address complaints about residential vacation rentals, specifically concerns of parking, noise, and ensuring owner occupancy for units meant to be owner-occupied.
Before considering the amendment, the Council is seeking input from Ogden residents to understand the level of impact that short-term rentals have in neighborhoods.

The survey will close on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
