Eric Gibson has worked in the economic development field for more than 10 years, supporting municipalities, counties, and regional authorities across the United States to improve their economic futures and quality of life. Eric has led several redevelopment projects, launched various public-private partnerships and economic development organizations. He's executed on strategic planning and implementation projects from small rural communities to major metropolitan areas.
Eric was raised in Colorado Springs and therefore has an innate love for trails, mountains, and other outdoor spaces, even if he still gets lost because "the mountains are on the wrong side". He has lived in Utah since 2014 and is a proud Weber State graduate, where he studied International Business Economics and English Language and Literature. Eric also has a master's degree in economics from Purdue University and specializes in market, feasibility, and impact analyses. Eric is deeply in love with his wife, Paula, and has three young children with whom he enjoys spending his time as a pirate, Jedi master, or whatever other character they ask him to be.
