About the Program

The HELP program helps homeowners afford costly home repairs or maintenance issues to preserve and enhance existing homes in Ogden's vintage neighborhoods. The HELP program is a loan with a low interest rate and monthly payments.

  • Fire Detection Equipment
  • Furnace and Air Conditioning Repairs
  • Plumbing Repairs
  • Sewer & Water Line Repairs
  • Water Heater Replacement


Exterior Improvements

  • Driveway
  • Fencing
  • Painting
  • Small Porch Repairs
  • Roofing Repairs & Replacements
  • Sprinklers
  • Front Door Replacement
  • Window Replacements

Loan Terms

  • Maximum Loan Amount - Based on available funding, eligible scope of work, available equity, and ability to pay.
  • Loan Term - Up to 10 years.
  • Interest Rate - 4% for a 10-year loan.
  • Minimum Payment - $50 per month (for qualified applicants).
